When I was pregnant and hatching the plan to quit the corporate world and focus on portrait photography full-time I thought, "How tough can it be to have a baby? They eat, sleep and poop. I'll have all the time in the world to start my baby photography business!" I soon discovered that newborns do do all of those things, but they must be cajoled to do two out of three of those things. Patience is a virtue and I have really learned to just go with the flow - the resulting photos are worth the wait!
Hanging with the twins
Jack was having a playdate with his twin friends. He handed over his ice cream cone and they wasted no time. Many more of those to come this summer, I'm sure. Happy Memorial Day!
Congratulations Andrew and Erica!
I got a call last week to photograph a surprise engagement on the Brooklyn Bridge. Andrew and Erica flew up to New York from Georgia for Erica's birthday. I love surprises and was so happy to be able to help someone pull this off - and pull it off we did! I love the look on her face . . . Congrats guys!
